Summer fun xo

It's summer break and the plans for my break are starting to line up! I'm nannying for the summer and also got an internship! Yay me! This being my last summer as an undergrad is pretty depressing... With this said, even with all these important things going on, I know I have to live it up this summer! Spending time with my friends, going out, lounging by the pool on my days off, shows, camping, etc. 

I'll be posting tons of pictures of my adventures, food I'll be cooking up for summer parties, clothes, and a lot more!

Vegas

I just went to Vegas for my first time being of age. I was with two of my girlfriends for three nights. We stayed at the cosmopolitan, it was amazing! The funny thing about our trip was the amount of money we had saved on drinks and food. It's crazy how much you can get for being a single younger girl. I didn't gamble, not really my thing. 

I woke up this morning sad to leave but as we waited to go to the airport I was so happy to leave. Three nights was a perfect amount of time to be on Vegas, anymore than that I probably would of died! The amount of alcohol consumed is what did it for me.

I'm sorry I haven't been writing! I've been so busy with finals, and work. 

Nothing exciting has been going on lately. Schools out for the summer and it looks like it's going to be pretty boring. I need to make my summer to do list! I'll keep you guys posted!

The number game

I've been waking up the past few Sunday mornings with random texts from random numbers.... When going out I have a problem with being rude/mean to guys that ask for my number. I can't just make up numbers because then I actually have to think about it, and that would be too noticeable. I've been trying to figure out what the proper thing is to do when someone asks for your number. I'll just have to learn as I keep going out, I'll keep you all updated! If you have any helpful hints, PLEASE let me know!

My hair hates me

I've tried a few shampoos and just can't find the right one! My hair is in between thin and thick, pretty long, and high lighted. I've always had oily hair and have to shampoo every day or by 5:00 p.m. my hair is dreadful. My friend had told me to stop using conditioner. Brushing my hair after getting out of the shower is painful! But after four days of not using conditioner my hair hasn't been as oily/greasy. If you have this problem try this!

Birthdays!

So today is two of my best friends birthdays! I love birthdays! What ways do you celebrate?
I always love to begin their special day with a phone call. In this case I live with one of my best friends so of course I jumped on her while she was sleeping at 12:00 a.m. This probably wasn't the nicest thing to do, because she had to wake up at 4:00 a.m. for work... BUT this day only happens once a year. Then make them something special, such as breakfast or a card. If not take them out to lunch or dinner if there's time in both of your day. If your not near your friend or family member send them a nice text during the day telling them you hope their day is going well! What ways do you show your friend you love them on their birthday?

Ouch!

Okay okay okay! So today I decided it was time for my first wax.... You can imagine how awkward it is to arrive at the salon and say "Hi, I'm here for my appointment" and the front desk says "a wax right?" Yup, and everyone in the sitting area looks up to see who the not so lucky girl is. ME! I know I shouldn't be embarrassed but really!?

So the nice younger lady comes out and brings me into the back cornered room. It was a clean, and cozy set up. And then I realize ... I have to drop my pants. It was almost like a trip to the gynecologist. Sweet Jesus it hurt so damn bad! All my friends lied to me! I thought I had a high pain tolerance, false! I apologized multiple times for flinching. I caught myself responding to her questions rudely. Poor lady was probably like... "I need to hurry I and get this amateur out of here!" When it was done I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. But as soon as I stood up... I couldn't feel my lower half! (I'm sure you probably think I'm crazy!) When leaving the lady at the front desk smirked at me! Thank you!!!!! Goodness! I'm satisfied that with it, but the pain women go through is outrageous! I'd love to hear other experiences. Please comment and I'll respond ASAP!
